چکیده
Real Time quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR) is a widely used technique to study the transcript level modulation of genes during developmental stages crop plants as well in stress responses. Suitable reference have not been validated many including black pepper. In this study, expression stability six commonly housekeeping viz., actin, ?-tubulin, elongation factor, initiation ubiquitin and glyceraldehyde 3- phosphate dehydrogenase were evaluated by RT-qPCR growth pepper inflorescence varieties Panniyur 1, Karimunda Thekken. The results analyzed using geNorm Normfinder statistical algorithms. Stable gene critical for accurate normalization target data RT-qPCR. factor identified most stable different Thekken, 1 respectively. Actin combination with GAPDH obtained optimal It first report on identification can aid studies yield improvement. will

Biological role of Piper nigrum L. (Black pepper): A review
Piper nigrum is famous as the spices king due to its pungent quality[1]. Piper nigrum (P.nigrum) L. is a member of family Piperaceae[2-4]. The genus piper has more than 1000 species but the most well known species are P.nigrum, P.longum and P.betle; 51 cultivars of p. nigrum have been reported from the tropical and subtropical regions of India [5]. P.nigrum fruits are also used to produce white...

Present study evaluated in vitro antioxidant activity and cytotoxicity of four important Piper species (P. nigrum L., P. chaba Hunter, P. longum L. and P. colubrinum Link.) and six black pepper varieties (Sreekara, Subhakara, IISR Malabar Excel, Panniyur-1, Panchami and IISR Thevam). It was performed with sequential extracts of the dried berries/fruits using n-hexane, chloroform, methanol and w...

A Gram positive, rod shaped potential strain selected from the pool of a bacterial isolates obtained from the Western ghat forest on the basis of zone of P-solubilization activity. Identification based on 16S rRNA gene sequence reveals that, the strain is of Bacillus species, which shares highest sequence similarity to Bacillus tequilensis NRRL B-41771 (99.5%). Strain NII-0943 was able to produ...
متن کاملKey Microbiota Identification Using Functional Gene Analysis during Pepper (Piper nigrum L.) Peeling
Pepper pericarp microbiota plays an important role in the pepper peeling process for the production of white pepper. We collected pepper samples at different peeling time points from Hainan Province, China, and used a metagenomic approach to identify changes in the pericarp microbiota based on functional gene analysis. UniFrac distance-based principal coordinates analysis revealed significant c...
